Tuition and Financial Aid

  • Approximate tuition per year:
    • Local student: HKD 47,000 (~$6,000)
    • Non-local student: HKD 190,000 (~$24,400)
  • Estimated living and personal expenses, including on-campus accommodation, books, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses (10 months): HKD 52,182(~$6,690)

Student Life

  • More than 80 active student associations and societies
  • Students also participate in annual events, which include the Aquatic Meet, Athletic Meet and CityUHK Philharmonic Orchestra.


Housing

  • CityUHK Student Residence houses up to 6,000 students at two residential compounds situated in Kowloon Tong (11 halls) and Ma On Shan (6 halls). In addition, the Jockey Club House on the main campus also provides student accommodation.
  • Among the wide variety of housing options in Hong Kong, students have plenty of options for finding one that suits their living style and needs. Students may choose to stay in commercially operated accommodations CityUHK recommends, or rent their own flat on the market.
