Interviews

The interview is the second round of the application process. Interviews are scheduled by the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program admissions committee; it is not possible for applicants to arrange an interview without the request of the committee. All candidates invited for an interview will be notified in early February.

Interviews typically take place in early March and are held virtually. Interviews are typically 30 minutes in length and are conducted by a joint interview panel comprised of representatives from both CityUHK and Columbia.

The interview is an important aspect of the application process, and candidates should expect to discuss various aspects of their application file, their personal experiences, academic plans, and topics specific to their chosen academic program.
